Integrating Artificio with Google Drive: A Step-by-Step Guide

Let's walk through how to connect Artificio with your Google Drive to import data seamlessly. This will allow you to bring your Google Drive information into Artificio for analysis and further use. 

Here's what you'll need to do: 

1. Adding the Google Drive User on Artificio: 

  • Start by heading over to the "Users" section within Artificio. 

  • Here, you'll need to add a new Google Drive user account. This user account is  essentially the one that has access to Google Drive from where the data is being accessed. 

2. Preparing the Data in Artificio: 

  • Before bringing in data from Google Drive, Artificio needs to understand its structure. 

  • Navigate to the "Data Series" section. Here, you'll define the specific columns and keys (unique identifiers) present in your Google Drive data. Essentially, you're creating a template for Artificio to recognize incoming information. 

3. Setting Up the Integration: 

  • Now, it's time to establish the connection. Go to the "Integrations" section within Artificio. 

  • From the list of available integrations, select "Google Drive". 

  • Here, you'll need to add the user you created in step 1. This user acts as the bridge between Artificio and your Google Drive. 

4. Importing the Data: 

  • We're almost there! Since we're bringing data into Artificio, choose the "Inbound" option during the integration setup. 

  • Artificio will prompt you to create an "Inbound Model." This model essentially defines how the data from Google Drive will be brought in and structured within Artificio. 

  • Ensure the data configuration in the Inbound Model matches the columns and keys you defined in the Data Series section (step 2). This creates a seamless connection between your Google Drive information and Artificio's understanding of the data. 

5. Running Inbound Integration and Verification: 

  • Once the Inbound Model is set up, head back to the Integrations section and find your Google Drive connection. 

  • Click on the "Run" button associated with the model. This initiates the data import process from your Google Drive. 

  • Finally, go back to the "Data Series" section. Here, you should see the imported data from your Google Drive populated, ready for you to analyze and utilize within Artificio. 

By following these steps, you'll successfully integrate Artificio with your Google Drive, allowing you to leverage your cloud-stored information for further analysis and tasks within Artificio.
