Overview

This functionality allows you to effectively communicate with your audience by sending targeted SMS messages. You can create both static and dynamic campaigns, leveraging data from your data views to personalize messages.

Getting Started

Request an SMS Number:

  • Click "Create Request" to initiate the process.
  • Provide the following information:
    • Name: Assign a descriptive name to your SMS number.
    • Message Type:
      • Promotional: For marketing and advertising messages.
      • Transactional: For time-sensitive messages like order confirmations or alerts.
    • Destination Country: Select Canada or the US.
  • The process of obtaining your SMS number typically takes approximately 15 business days. The Artificio team will notify you once the number is ready for use.

Creating SMS Messages

Templates:

  • Create Templates: Design reusable message templates for both static and dynamic campaigns.
    • Add Variables (Dynamic Templates): Insert variables within your templates to personalize messages with data from your data views (e.g., names, order IDs).
  • Manage Templates: Edit or delete existing templates as needed.

 

Contacts:

  • Create Contact Lists: Build and maintain lists of recipients by adding their names, email addresses, phone numbers, and country codes.
  • Manage Contacts: Edit or delete contact information within your lists.

 

Sending SMS Campaigns

  1. Static Campaigns:
    • Select "Static" radio button.
    • Choose a contact list from the dropdown.
    • Select the desired SMS number.
    • Select a template for your campaign.
    • Click "Play" to send the messages immediately.

 

  1. Dynamic Campaigns:
    • Select "Dynamic" radio button.
    • Choose a contact list from the dropdown.
    • Map Fields: Connect contact data fields (e.g., "First Name") to corresponding data groups or data views within your platform.
    • Click "Play" to send the personalized messages.

 

Campaign Analytics

  • Monitor the performance of your SMS campaigns with detailed analytics:
    • Total Messages Sent: Track the total number of messages dispatched.
    • Recipients: View the total number of intended recipients.
    • Delivered: See the number of messages successfully delivered to recipients.
    • Sent To: Track the number of messages sent to specific contact lists or segments.
    • Sent By: Identify the SMS number used to send each campaign.
