Artificio User Guide: Model Agent and Auto-Extraction

The Model Agent is Artificio’s "on-the-go" solution for document intelligence. Instead of manual configuration, you can build custom extraction models simply by uploading a sample and describing what you need.

Phase 1: Accessing the Model Agent

To begin building your extraction logic:

1. Navigate to the Home tab of the Artificio platform.

2. Locate and click on the Auto Extraction Engine tile.

3. You will be presented with an interface designed for file uploads and prompt input.

Phase 2: Creating Your Extraction Model

Setting up a new model is a conversational process between you and the AI.

• Step 1: Upload & Describe Select your document and upload it. Immediately after, write a prompt specifying what data you want to capture (e.g., "Extract the key labels from the selected document). 

• Step 2: AI Verification Artificio’s AI will analyze the document, identify key labels, and verify them against the actual content of the uploaded file. 

• Step 3: Model Finalization Enter the prompt again to confirm and finalize the model creation.

Phase 3: Automated Infrastructure

Once the model is finalized, Artificio automatically builds the backend required to manage your data. This includes:

• New Workflow: A custom pipeline created specifically for this data extraction task.

• Data View & Data Group: Structured containers where your extracted information will be organized and displayed.

• Chat History: A record of the prompt and document type used is saved for future reference.

Managing Your Models

After the initial setup, you can immediately begin processing more files.

Pro Tip: All your document types and models are listed on the left-hand side of the Model Agent interface for quick navigation and batch uploading of similar documents.
