Diagnose SAP support tickets with governed AI agents.

Pick up SAP tickets from ServiceNow, Jira or your support mailbox, investigate each one in SAP and return it with a diagnosis, the evidence and a proposed fix. The agent hands specialist work to the right agent or team, and changes to SAP happen only after the required approvals.

Why it matters

SAP support teams spend their day finding the problem, not fixing it.

Most of the time on an SAP ticket goes into reproducing the issue, digging through logs and transactions, and finding who owns it. After go-live, ticket volume spikes just as the project team leaves.

  • Investigation

    Hours of digging per ticket

Consultants check SM37, ST22, SMQ2, WE02 and SU53 one by one to find what actually failed.Slow response → SLA breaches → Escalations
  • Routing

    Tickets bounce between teams

Basis, functional and security teams pass tickets back and forth because nobody can see the root cause.Reassignments → Lost time → Frustrated users
  • Knowledge

    The same fix, rediscovered

Recurring issues are solved again from scratch because the last diagnosis lives in someone's head.Repeat tickets → Higher AMS cost → Burnout

How it works

Read. Validate. Decide. Act.

The same four steps as every Artificio agent. The agent does the research and the paperwork; your teams make the decisions.

  1. 01 · Read

    Pick up the ticket

From ServiceNow, Jira or a support mailbox, including attachments and screenshots.

    • Classified by SAP area, process and urgency
    • Users, documents and error messages extracted
  2. 02 · Validate

    Investigate in SAP

Checks the logs and documents that matter for this kind of issue.

    • Job logs, dumps, queues, IDocs and authorization traces
    • Similar past tickets and their fixes compared
  3. 03 · Decide

    Explain and propose

Writes a diagnosis with the evidence and a proposed fix.

    • Root cause before any retry or change
    • Specialist work handed to the right agent or team
  4. 04 · Act

    Close the loop

Updates the ticket and carries out approved fixes.

    • Diagnosis, evidence and next step written to the ticket
    • Fix verified in SAP before the ticket is closed

Worked example

A month-end ticket, from ServiceNow to diagnosis.

A warehouse supervisor raises a ticket: goods issues from EWM aren't posting. Here is what the agent finds before a consultant opens SAP.

Question for R. Okoye

Can materials posting period 011/2026 be reopened for company code 1000 so 46 goods issues from EWM can post? Once you confirm it's open, the queues are reprocessed after the support lead approves.

  • If the cause isn't clear

    Escalated with the evidence

The ticket goes to the right team with everything the agent found, so nobody starts from zero.
  • If the fix needs a change

    Approval first

Configuration, authorization and data changes follow your change process and approvals.
  • If the fix doesn't hold

    Reopened with what changed

The agent verifies the fix in SAP. If the problem returns, the ticket reopens with the new evidence.

Controlled autonomy

Start with human oversight. Automate only when ready.

The agent proves itself on your real work before it writes anything to SAP. The platform measures how often your people agree with it, so you decide when to give it more room, case type by case type.

  1. Step 1Where every agent starts

    Shadow mode

The agent proposes every action but writes nothing to SAP. Your people decide, and each answer counts toward the agreement rate.

  2. Step 2

    Approve, then act

The required owners approve. The agent acts in SAP only when the last approval lands.

  3. Step 3

    Act by approved rule

For case types you explicitly configure and approve, such as reprocessing a known queue error after the cause is fixed and duplicates are ruled out, the agent acts on its own and reports back.

Governed agent runtime

Shared platform controls across every Artificio agent.

What makes this agent different is its configuration: its instructions, the tools it may use and the policies it works under. Reviewers, approvals, versions and audit work the same way for every agent you add.

What we measure

Results you can see in your own numbers.

Every pilot tracks the same four measures from day one, so the business case comes from your data, not ours.

  • Time to diagnosis

From ticket created to root cause written on the ticket.
  • Reassignments avoided

Tickets that reach the right team the first time.
  • Recurring issues

Repeat tickets with the same cause, tracked over time.
  • Hypercare load

Tickets per week after go-live, and how many needed a consultant.

For SAP teams

Integrates with SAP ECC and S/4HANA through standard interfaces.

The agent reads and writes data through supported SAP interfaces, without modifying standard SAP objects and without replacing your existing governance.

Writes to SAP

ScopeTicket intake and updates work by email, or by API where your ServiceNow or Jira setup allows; this is agreed in discovery. The SAP logs and objects the agent may read, and the fixes it may run, are confirmed for your SAP release and deployment.

Pilot approach

Start with one SAP area and your top recurring tickets.

A focused pilot in your QA or sandbox system proves the agent on your own data before anything reaches production.

  1. Phase 1

    Connect

Review SAP edition, interfaces, authorizations and representative data.

  2. Phase 2

    Configure

Agree the ticket sources, SAP areas, support teams and approvals.

  3. Phase 3

    Pilot

Run real tickets in shadow mode: the agent diagnoses, your team fixes.

  4. Phase 4

    Expand

Review the four measures, then add areas, specialist agents and approved fixes.

Frequently asked questions

Questions SAP teams ask.

Which ticketing tools does it work with?
ServiceNow, Jira and support mailboxes. Tickets can be picked up by email, or by API where your setup allows.
Does it close tickets on its own?
Only where you allow it. By default the agent writes its diagnosis and proposed fix to the ticket, and your team decides. Closure follows your service desk rules.
Can it help during hypercare after go-live?
Yes. The agent does the first investigation on every ticket, which helps most when volume spikes after go-live and the project team is rolling off.
How does it avoid making things worse?
It looks for the root cause before any retry, checks for duplicates before reprocessing anything, and only runs fixes you have approved.
Does it replace our AMS team?
No. It takes the investigation work off your team, so they can spend their time on fixes and improvements.
Is the Support Ticket Resolution Agent available today?
It is configured on request on the same governed platform as Artificio's available agents. We start by scoping your process and systems, then configure and test the agent in a pilot in your SAP QA or sandbox system before anything reaches production.
Does the Support Ticket Resolution Agent write to SAP without approval?
Not by default. Every agent starts in shadow mode, where nothing is written to SAP. After that, the required owners approve before the agent acts. Automatic action is only possible for cases you explicitly configure and approve.
Which SAP versions are supported?
SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA. The exact interfaces and scope are confirmed for your release and deployment during technical discovery; S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition is reviewed case by case.
